Contact enquiries

When you contact me through the website form or by email, I process the information you provide. This may include your name, email address, organisation, selected topic, message and any other information you choose to include.

I use this information to respond to your enquiry, understand whether and how I may be able to support you, arrange an introductory conversation and, where relevant, take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Where your enquiry relates to a possible engagement, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business or professional enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and my legitimate interest in receiving and responding to those enquiries.

The data may be processed by service providers needed to operate my website and email, including Wix as the website and form provider and Google Workspace as the email provider. These providers process data on my behalf or under their own applicable terms. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, I rely on the safeguards described in that provider’s applicable data-protection terms, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

If an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, I delete it no later than 12 months after the last substantive contact, unless I need to retain it longer to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If an engagement results, relevant information becomes part of the client records and is retained for the applicable contractual and statutory periods.

You are not legally or contractually required to submit an enquiry. However, I need your name, email address and message to respond. I do not use contact-enquiry data for automated decision-making.
