About Ivan
I help organisations turn AI experiments into repeatable ways of working, and I coach leaders and experienced professionals through demanding roles and organisational change.
Alongside ipCoaching, I am responsible for scaling AI and agentic ways of working across engineering and non-engineering functions in a large digital organisation.
This gives me the perspective of someone accountable for making adoption work inside a complex organisation, not only advising from outside.
What AI scaling looks like in practice
In my current role, I work across organisational layers. This includes executive leadership and senior leaders, people managers, AI ambassadors, domain experts and the teams doing the day-to-day work. The scope spans engineering and non-engineering functions.
My work includes translating strategic direction into practical adoption structures. Together with domain experts, I identify recurring workflows, design safe experiments, clarify ownership and human review, enable managers and ambassadors, and establish adoption measures and feedback loops.
A central part of my work is enabling domain experts to use AI responsibly and help their colleagues adopt it. I support them through coaching, practice and regular reinforcement. This supports the behavioural change needed for AI to become part of everyday work.
We turn lessons from real use into reusable practices, skills and examples that other teams can adopt and improve. Where further expertise is needed, I work alongside technical, platform, security and legal specialists. My responsibility is to connect these perspectives into an organisational approach that can work in practice.
A background across technology, product and organisations
I have more than 15 years of experience across technology, product, business development, strategy, leadership and organisational development.
During that time, I have led cross-functional teams and company-wide initiatives, worked closely with senior technology and product leaders, and helped move complex work through organisations.
This breadth shapes how I approach AI adoption. I look beyond the technology itself and consider the workflows, decisions, responsibilities and relationships around it.
How I work
I am direct, practical and curious. I listen closely, ask questions and help people make difficult topics discussable.
I do not begin with a standard transformation model. I start by understanding what is happening, what needs to change and what is preventing progress.
From there, I help clarify decisions, responsibilities and next steps. When specialist knowledge is needed, I work alongside the organisation's engineering, platform, security, legal and domain experts.
Consulting and coaching
My consulting work focuses on AI adoption and organisational change. I help organisations understand what is blocking adoption, turn promising experiments into decisions and build structures that support broader scaling.
Leadership coaching is a separate offer. I work with leaders and experienced professionals navigating new responsibilities, difficult conversations, conflict, stakeholder dynamics and professional transitions.
The two areas inform each other, but they do not have to be combined.
Working with me
I am based in Hamburg and work remotely with clients internationally.
Consulting, workshops and coaching are available in English, German and Croatian. Leadership coaching can also take place in person by agreement in the Hamburg area.
Each engagement starts with a short conversation about the situation, the people involved and what would be useful to achieve.
